January 17, 2005, 12:23 am The Sights Set to Release Third Album and Tour This Spring
Source: Detroit Free Press After catching the attention of ex-Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha, Detroit's garage-meets-Motown pop trio the Sights is set to release a self-titled third recording on Iha's label Scratchie Records, an imprint of New Line Records. The disc is due April 12. For now, the group is gearing up for Austin's SXSW music convention in March, which will be followed by a full U.S. tour in the spring. The band features Eddie Baranek (vocals and guitar), Mike Trombley (drums) and newest addition Bobby Emmett (organ/bass), who joined the group in the spring.
